Position Overview As we continue to expand our footprint, we are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Blue Bottle, Calgary and help us deliver the "Mint experience"—thoughtful service, strong collaboration, and care that puts people first. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) Patient Care & Counseling: Conduct clinical assessments, manage medication therapy for chronic and acute conditions, and provide comprehensive patient education on prescriptions. Clinical Services: Administer vaccinations/injections, adapt prescriptions, and proactively manage drug therapy to prevent and treat health disorders. Dispensing & Compounding: Supervise and participate in the preparation, packaging, and distribution of medications, ensuring absolute accuracy in dosage, labeling, and storage. Interprofessional Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care and streamline transition plans. Drug Information Resource: Act as the trusted clinical drug expert for patients, families, and community healthcare professionals. What You’ll Bring (Qualifications & Skills) Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). Licensure: Active registration (or immediate eligibility for registration) as a Pharmacist in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Alberta (CPAB). Certifications: Must be Injection Certified in AB. Screening: Clear Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (required upon hire). Core Skills: Strong clinical assessment capabilities, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work seamlessly both independently and within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous clinical experience in direct patient care or a hospital setting. Technical proficiency with electronic health records and medication order entry systems (experience with Kroll is highly preferred).
