Senior Accountant – Public Accounting Location: Richmond Hill, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2–3 days in office A well-established public accounting firm in Richmond Hill is looking to add two experienced Senior Accountants to its growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with well-rounded public accounting experience who wants exposure across assurance, compilations and tax within a collaborative mid-sized firm environment. Responsibilities: Prepare and complete review engagements for privately held companies Prepare compilation engagements and related financial statements Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns (T2s and T1s) Assist with nonprofit and smaller audit engagements during audit season Work directly with clients to gather information and resolve accounting and tax matters Manage files independently and ensure engagements are completed accurately and on time Collaborate with partners and other members of the accounting team Qualifications: Several years of experience within a Canadian public accounting firm Strong experience with review and compilation engagements Experience preparing T1 and T2 tax returns Exposure to audit engagements is an asset Experience working with ASPE and privately held companies CPA designation preferred Strong communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage files independently and work effectively within a team Why Consider This Opportunity?
