This role involves contributing to exceptional customer experience, delivering on schedule, and upholding Minto’s core values. It includes identifying deficiencies, assessing, and completing repairs in a timely manner. Here’s how you’ll contribute Customer Experience & Communication: * Engage with homeowners professionally to provide a positive service experience. * Clearly explain repair processes and timelines. * Seek opportunities to exceed homeowner expectations during service visits. Warranty Repairs & Inspections: * Assess, document, and complete warranty-related repairs promptly. * Perform finishing carpentry, drywall repairs, insulation, and general construction fixes. * Conduct both interior and exterior repairs, including: * Interior: Windows, doors, frames, baseboards, wood flooring, carpets, tiles, grout, cabinetry, drywall, and painting. * Exterior: Roofing, decking, foundation walls, siding, brickwork, and waterproofing. * Install bathroom accessories and conduct minor electrical and plumbing fixture repairs as needed. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment during and after service visits. Operational Excellence: * Use Newstar Web software to track work orders and document daily notes. * Report completed and outstanding warranty items to the Warranty Manager/Coordinator. * Identify and escalate quality concerns or recurring workmanship issues. And even if you don’t tick every box—we believe in your potential and are here to support your growth. * High School Diploma is an asset. * Minimum of two years of relevant work experience; on-the-job training is essential. * Computer skills are an asset. * General knowledge of residential construction repairs. * Strong communication skills (listening, verbal, and written). * Independent worker. * Dependable and reliable. * Team player. * Flexible to move to different projects and jobs. * Attention to detail. * Bilingualism is an asset. * Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
