Role: Brand Manager Contract: August 2026 – February 2028 Location: Okanagan Valley, British Columbia At Iconic Wineries of British Columbia, we are the stewards of some of Canada's most iconic luxury estate wineries, including Mission Hill Family Estate, CedarCreek Estate Winery, Martin’s Lane Winery, and CheckMate Artisanal Winery. The Opportunity As our Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall strategic brand marketing plans for their portfolio of luxury Canadian wine brands including Red Barn at Jagged Rock, Road 13 Vineyards, Liquidity Winery and Artisan Wine Shops. You have the unique ability to craft compelling storytelling and experience-based initiatives, and understand what drives consumers. What You’ll Do: Brand Planning & Strategy * Establish and execute the strategic long-term direction for your portfolio of brands, completing ongoing competitive analysis, consumer insights and benchmarking for all brands. * Lead brand positioning and architecture refinement leveraging market research and consumer insights. * Set and execute the annual marketing calendar for your brands across all channels. * Continuously evaluate current brand performance, market dynamics, competitive landscape, determine opportunities for innovation as well as SKU rationalization. * Drive a deep understanding of consumer segments and messaging hierarchy for project initiatives Brand Execution * Be the brand and consumer expert of your portfolio, acting as a true business partner cross-functionally with all internal and distributor stakeholders to deliver on comprehensive multi-channel strategies. * Day to day management of briefing process, and development of concepts and creative. * Craft your brand’s strategies into wine-focused and compelling creative and digital concepts and head-turning copy. * Deliver toolkits, accolades and communications needed for all channels to surpass their goals, including eCommerce, on-site needs and in-market. * Manage marketing initiatives from concept through to execution ensuring all projects are on brief and meet the highest creative standards. * Identify and implement innovative communication, promotional and public relations programs to deliver a competitive advantage. What You Bring: * Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in brand management and marketing, preferably in the beverage alcohol industry, or in luxury product. * Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related from a recognized institution. * Formal wine education is an asset. * Experience managing the creative process - strong instincts, creative and evaluative skills. * Exceptional creative skills – writing and experience in creative development. * Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. * Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and taking initiative. * High energy with an entrepreneurial drive to succeed. * Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely. The typical hiring range for this position is $75,000 - $81,500 annually complemented by an end of contract bonus plan; the base pay is determined by market location and job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
