About Join our dynamic Risk Management team as a Credit Analyst, where you’ll leverage your analytical skills and credit expertise to make informed decisions that shape our success. Reporting to the Team Lead of Flow Credit, you’ll play a crucial role in evaluating financial data, making recommendations, and exercising sound judgment in credit analysis. Responsibilities Underwrite and make decisions on transactions within your earned credit authority. Present and recommend transactions exceeding credit authority to management, accurately assessing total exposure, and credit risk. Analyze applicants’ financial situation, references, solvency, and repayment capacity. Collaborate with sales teams, vendor representatives, and third-party brokerages to negotiate terms. Conduct thorough research on individuals, companies, and guarantees to ensure compliance with creditworthiness standards and "Know Your Customer" protocols. Communicate decisions to applicants, providing clear explanations and viable alternatives where possible. Work cross-functionally with different departments to achieve shared goals. Participate in various projects, contributing your expertise to drive outcomes. Undertake additional tasks related to the role as assigned. The Profile We Are Looking For You have a bachelor’s in business administration - finance or accounting OR any other related diploma; At least 2 years of relevant experience in similar functions such as: Consulting services including financial statement analysis Credit analysis, Risk Management Expertise in analyzing financial statements and credit reports. Strong interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Bilingual proficiency in English and French to ensure adequate service for our teams and clients across Canada Good analytical, judgment, synthesis, and organizational skills.
