Your unique perspective, transferable skills, and lived experience may be exactly what we’re looking for. ** Job Description As a valuable member of the Retail & Merchandising team, you will be responsible for the delivery of championship customer service to fans at our Real Sports Memorabilia locations. Your approach to sales goes beyond just a sale as you create an individualized, seamless, safe, and fun fan experience. RESPONSIBILITIES Greet fans promptly and enthusiastically. Provide friendly and informed responses to inquiries regarding our Memorabilia items. Ability to take customer payments and package sold items. Operate POS handheld credit card machine. Keep the work area clean and organized. Each shift is approximately five hours. Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies, as well as Real Sports Memorabilia Scheduling & Availability Policy Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act. QUALIFICATIONS Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required Previous experience in retail environment an asset Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Familiarity with the City of Toronto and tourist attractions an asset Must work well under pressure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously Self-starter who takes accountability A positive, winning attitude, incorporating integrity, confidentiality, and discretion Knowledge in hockey & basketball as sports memorabilia an asset Job Posting Compensation Range/Rate: $17.60 / hour We’re glad you’re here.
