The Estimating Coordinator supports the estimating team by coordinating bid documents, maintaining estimate folders and bid records, monitoring tender sites, and helping ensure pricing, tender requirements, and submission materials are organized and up to date. This role helps keep the estimating process moving smoothly from bid review through submission and post-bid support. The IT Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for Modern Niagara Building Services' Information Technology function, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology services that support business operations across the organization. Working closely with the Corporate IT Director and Corporate IT team, this role leads the local IT and Helpdesk team while managing day-to-day support, infrastructure, technology assets, security compliance, and local IT initiatives. Success in this role means delivering exceptional IT service, maintaining secure and reliable technology environments, and aligning local operations with Corporate IT strategy and standards. Key Impact / Purpose * Deliver reliable, secure, and efficient IT services that enable employees and support business operations across Modern Niagara Building Services. * Lead and develop the local IT and Helpdesk team while fostering a responsive, customer-focused support environment. * Strengthen organizational technology capabilities by maintaining secure infrastructure, supporting corporate initiatives, and driving continuous improvement. Duties and Responsibilities * Lead the day-to-day operations of the local IT and Helpdesk team by setting priorities, coordinating workloads, mentoring team members, and monitoring service performance. * Serve as the primary technical leadership contact for local IT operations while collaborating closely with the Corporate IT Director and Corporate IT team. * Act as the escalation point for complex or high-priority technical issues and ensure timely resolution. * Provide technical support for hardware, software, networking, operating systems, and end-user technologies. * Monitor helpdesk performance, ticket volumes, response times, and service levels while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. * Deploy, configure, maintain, and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and other technology assets in accordance with Corporate IT standards. * Maintain accurate inventories of hardware, software, licensing, and technology assets. * Coordinate hardware lifecycle planning, equipment refresh programs, and technology deployments. * Ensure compliance with Corporate IT policies, cybersecurity standards, patch management, endpoint protection, and user access controls. * Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including technology provisioning, equipment deployment, and account management. * Support local infrastructure initiatives, organizational integrations, and technology modernization projects while identifying operational risks and dependencies. * Collaborate with Corporate IT to support infrastructure improvements, system integrations, and strategic technology initiatives. * Assist with vendor relationships, software licensing, technology procurement, and budget planning. * Maintain accurate documentation within the IT ticketing system, including issue resolution, remediation activities, and service records. * Prepare and communicate regular reporting on helpdesk performance, service metrics, open issues, and team activities. * Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, user experience, operational efficiency, and technology reliability. * Travel to Modern Niagara locations across Canada as required to support business operations and technology initiatives. * Perform other related duties in support of Information Technology operations. Must Haves * Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or a minimum of five years of equivalent Information Technology experience. * Previous experience leading or supervising an IT support or technical services team. * Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, software, and end-user technologies. * Experience supporting IT helpdesk operations and service level management. * Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, including Microsoft Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 administration. * Working knowledge of IT security best practices, including endpoint protection, patch management, identity and access management, and cybersecurity principles. * Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment. * Willingness and ability to travel to Modern Niagara locations across Canada as required. Nice to Haves * Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or organizational integration projects. * Experience working within a multi-location or matrix reporting environment. * Exposure to vendor management, software licensing, procurement, and IT budgeting. * Experience supporting infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives. * Microsoft certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, or related technologies). * ITIL Foundation or other IT Service Management certification. * Experience within the construction, engineering, or building services industry.
