Our client in Toronto (near Yorkdale Mall) is looking for an Accounting Manager. They are seeking someone who has at least 3 years of work experience in financial analysis, FP&A or accounting as well as having advanced Microsoft Excel skills. The person would also need experience with payroll processing and government remittances. Location: Toronto, Ontario. 100% On Site Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Vacancy Status: This is an active vacancy Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 per year Responsibilities Produce monthly financial reporting packages, dashboards, and performance insights that guide decision‑making. Develop and update budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning. Evaluate financial results, highlight emerging trends, assess risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations. Monitor budget performance and partner with teams to drive cost‑efficiency initiatives. Assist with year‑end close activities and complete account reconciliations for multiple locations. Manage payroll processing, remittances, and year‑end payroll compliance. Maintain adherence to payroll standards, tax requirements, GST/HST rules, and all regulatory reporting obligations Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of work experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Experience with payroll processing and government remittances. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
