CNC Machinist – $60–70K + 3 Weeks Vacation + Benefits + RRSP Match We’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team and support the programming, setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machining equipment. This role plays a key part in producing components for welding fixtures, checking fixtures, prototype tooling, and various production support activities. You’ll report directly to the CNC Supervisor . 💼 Compensation & Per Salary: $60,000–$70,000 Vacation: 3 weeks Benefits: Eligible after 3 months RRSP: Matching program available CNC Programming Review CAD models and engineering drawings Create, modify, and optimize G‑code for milling & turning Recommend machining strategies to improve quality and cycle time Machining Operations Set up and operate CNC milling and turning equipment Select tooling, fixtures, and workholding methods Prepare raw materials for machining Quality Control Inspect components using precision measuring tools Verify GD&T and drawing compliance Review CMM reports and adjust programs as needed Equipment & Inventory Perform routine CNC maintenance Coordinate preventative maintenance Monitor tooling/material inventory and request replenishment Other Duties Update CNC schedules Collaborate with internal teams and vendors Perform additional tasks as assigned 📚 Required Qualifications Diploma in Mechanical Technician, Tool & Die, CNC Machining, or equivalent Strong blueprint reading & GD&T knowledge 3+ years CNC programming and machining experience Experience with CNC milling and turning Solid understanding of cutting tools & machining parameters CAM experience (Mastercam) Ability to independently set up, troubleshoot, and optimize processes ⭐ Preferred Qualifications Experience with Okuma lathes and Haas machining centers Background in tooling, fixture, or prototype manufacturing Welding & fabrication knowledge
