Our client in Mississauga is looking for a Senior Financial Planner. This person will work closely with the Controller, primarily focusing on the company's finance and accounting functions, including FP&A, treasury, accounting oversight, manufacturing cost accounting, and business partnering. Location: Mississauga, Ontario. 100% On Site Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Vacancy Status: This is an active vacancy Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 per year Responsibilities Partner with the Controller to develop and execute financial strategies Make recommendations to optimize cash utilization and working capital Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities Review, validate, and improve financial models Oversee and maintain the company’s costing systems Analyze and resolve variances, including material usage, labour costs, and waste Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial closing processes Monitor and maintain the general ledger Collaborate with supply chain to ensure inventory accuracy and optimization Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 3 years of work experience in accounting or financial planning within a manufacturing company Strong understanding of ASPE Experience using an ERP system and advanced Excel skills Previous supervisory skills Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada Hiring Process & AI Disclosure Our company does not use artificial intelligence to screen, assess, or select applicants for this position.
