Position Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Welder to join our world-class manufacturing team on both Morning and Afternoon shifts. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality products by performing precision GTAW (TIG) and MIG welding on light gauge materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Morning Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm - Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities Perform GTAW (TIG) & (MIG) welding on light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel Utilize FCAW and GMAW processes as required Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications Ensure weld quality meets required standards and specifications Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment Inspect finished welds to ensure accuracy, strength, and consistency Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets Required Education & Qualifications Proven experience with GTAW (TIG), FCAW, and GMAW welding processes Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings Experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Willingness to work overtime (weekdays/weekends) as required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Experience operating shears and press brakes is considered an asset Modine is an equal opportunity employer. Proven experience in various welding processes and the ability to interpret technical drawings is required. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be willing to work overtime as needed.
