MTCBC is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations. Reporting directly to the MTCBC Board of Directors, the Director of Operations will provide executive leadership and oversight of the MTCBC, supported by a dedicated team of administrative personnel who carry out the Centre’s day-to-day administrative functions. The Director will provide direction, coordination, and accountability to the administrative team while focusing on the Centre’s strategic priorities, organizational development, and overall operations. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Organizational Leadership Financial & Administrative Oversight Programs, People & Compliance Stakeholder & Community Relations The Director of Operations provides senior-level leadership to an established and respected Montessori teacher education organization and helps shape its continued growth and development. Education University degree preferred Possesses a deep understanding of Montessori principles and philosophy Work Experience Three or more years of experience as a Montessori teacher preferred Business, school, or non-profit administration experience preferred Demonstrated leadership and management experience essential Working Conditions Based in the Greater Vancouver Area, with a hybrid work arrangement and regular on-site presence in collaboration with MTCBC staff. Approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate special events and key operational periods throughout the year. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to transition into the role alongside the current Director of Operations, who will provide administrative support, guidance, and consultation during the transition period.
