Fund Administration Manager – Investment Services – Halifax, NS Company Overview: A global investment company is searching for a Fund Administration Manager to join their team in Halifax. Core Responsibilities: As Fund Administration Manager, you will: Team Leadership & Development: Lead, train, and schedule a team of fund accountants; oversee cross-training, resource allocation, and team performance. Client & SLA Management: Serve as the primary escalation point for client queries, maintaining high satisfaction while ensuring the accurate, timely delivery of NAV production, financial statements, and associated reports. Audit & Operational Control: Accountable for the audit process, financial statement preparation/review, and strict compliance with SOC1 controls and operational checklists. Financial & Risk Governance: Track client profit margins, manage billing/collections, monitor team utilization and overtime, and oversee incident management. Process Improvement: Contribute to local and global tech and process optimization initiatives. Qualifications: Education: Degree in Finance or Accounting. Experience: 5+ years in fund administration, specifically within Hedge Funds. Leadership: Proven team management and leadership experience.
