Quality Control Location: Bruce Power Site, Tiverton, Ontario On-Site: Yes, 4x10 Shifts Duration: 1-Year Contract (Can Be Extended Annually) Employment Type: Contract Hourly Rate: $ 70 - 80/hour Vacancies: 3 Per Diem: Yes, $150/day if eligible Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Perform inspections on mechanical systems, components, and welds to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable codes (CSA, ASME, etc.). Conduct welding inspections including fit-up, in-process, and final weld inspections in accordance with CWB/ASME Section IX. Document all inspections and non-conformances; support the resolution and closeout of corrective actions. Coordinate with engineers, construction teams, and quality assurance personnel to maintain alignment with project quality objectives. Participate in quality audits and surveillance activities. Ensure adherence to Bruce Power’s safety procedures and nuclear quality assurance standards. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control in an industrial setting, preferably within the nuclear or power generation sector. CWB Level 2 is an asset Strong mechanical inspection background with demonstrated welding inspection experience is preferred.
