Mechanical Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) Location: Bruce Power On-Site: Hybrid (mostly remote, occasional travel to site each month) Job Type: Contract Pay Rate: $85–$100/hour (+per diem, if eligible) Vacancies: 3 Duration: 1 Year Seeking experienced Mechanical Engineering Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a major project at Bruce Power. We are looking for highly skilled professionals with strong technical expertise in mechanical equipment within nuclear, power generation, or heavy industrial environments. Key Areas of Expertise Candidates must have experience in at least one of the following areas: Rotating equipment Pumps and motors Valves and valve systems Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Extensive experience in at least one of the technical areas listed above 7+ years experience supporting nuclear, utility, or large industrial power-generation projects is a strong asset Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is mandatory Please note, this is a real and current job vacancy.
