Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic Where will you work: Onsite – K3, Esterhazy, Saskatchewan Pay Rate: $ 60.82 Hourly. Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic The Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic will safely and efficiently perform the duties of a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic in an assigned area on an assigned shift. What you’ll do: Inspect, install, adjust and maintain mechanical machines and equipment on site. Dismantle, repair and assemble plant equipment in line with manufacturers' specifications and recommended standards. Safely operate specific units of mobile equipment including overhead and mobile crane. Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and components. Display full knowledge and use of drawings, prints, sketches and parts manuals. Display full knowledge and use of micrometer and dial indicator and other tools necessary to achieve the settings and tolerances required. Operate all equipment serviced or repaired. Pass all related training classes. Work from ladder, platform, staging scaffold, swing stage and mobile equipment basket. If required must be prepared to train and handle firefighting duties as a member of the shift fire crew. Interpret and carry out written or oral instructions, and to make written reports as required. Diligently adhere to all relevant legal environmental requirements. Diligently ensure that all relevant OH&S requirements and in-house safety regulations are complied with. #LI-DNP What you’ll need: A recognized, valid, Red Seal (interprovincial ticket) Journeyman/Journey Person Industrial Mechanic's Certificate. Full knowledge of the safe utilization and care of power and hand tools. Full knowledge of cutting and welding practices. The ability to discern the state of mechanical condition of machines and equipment and take appropriate action. Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing. Good organizational skills and ability to work alone or partner with others. Ability to safely work in and around heavy industrial environment, including moving objects, concentrated chemicals and transport vehicles. Physical work environment is frequently outdoors and exposed to varying temperatures from below 32 degrees to above 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. They will perform repairs, operate mobile equipment, and adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.

Candidates must hold a valid Red Seal (interprovincial) Journeyman Industrial Mechanic's Certificate. The role requires the ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and perform physical tasks in an industrial environment.
