Mott MacDonald is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic Advisory team located in our Toronto office. In this position, you will have the opportunity to manage projects across a range of sectors including transit and transportation, built environment, energy, and water. You will support growth initiatives through establishing and building client relationships, supporting the development of junior and intermediate staff, and contributing to Mott MacDonald’s commitment to excellence. Key responsibilities will include: Delivery of project obligations on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. Work closely with the commercial team and ensure the change control process is followed. Manage project risk and opportunities effectively - take responsibility for the identification, allocation and management of the project risk and opportunities, taking effective mitigation measures to reduce risk. Be responsible for the project schedule. Work with multidisciplinary delivery teams to update the schedule as required. Supporting the Design Manager with active stakeholder management to clarify requirements and agree project objectives and priorities. Drive the commercial objectives specific to the project - ensure necessary reporting & information is delivered on time, to the required standard. Effective management of health, safety and wellbeing of all those engaged on the project. Maintaining industry knowledge of current standards and procedures concerning project management and other relevant technical disciplines. Nurturing an innovative, challenging, collaborative, and high-performing work environment, which supports the use of digital tools and technology and fosters the Mott MacDonald values and culture. We’re looking for an individual to join our team and invite applications from candidates with: Minimum 5-10 years of project management experience with a preference for infrastructure projects. Bachelor’s degree in project management and/or engineering or a post-secondary degree with relevant work experience. Experience of managing and leading project teams to successful outcomes, as well as mentoring or managing staff. High degree of commercial acumen and knowledge of planning and project controls. Ability to build and foster positive working relationships with our business partners, suppliers, contractors, and clients. Ability to work in a team environment. Well-developed writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Member of PMI or an equivalent professional body. PMP or related designation is an asset. Established relationships with infrastructure client organizations in the Toronto area is an asset. Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range. The expected salary range for this position is from $103,000 - $125,000. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
