Job Title Volleyball 3-Ball Attendant Job Type Flexible Union MRSA Salary Grade Flexible / Casual Classification (Salary Grade) SAD01 Administrative Services (Salary Grade 12) Hybrid Work This position is ineligible Position End Date 3/31/2027 Location MRU Main Campus - Calgary, AB T3E 6K6 CA (Primary) About This Position About the Role The 3 Ball Attendant is responsible for retrieving volleyballs during all Cougars home games. Attendants will retrieve volleyballs during the varsity warm-up, wipe off and pass the volleyballs to varsity players during the game. This position is an integral part of keeping the flow of the game consistent for teams and gives individuals the opportunity to contribute to a high-level sporting event while watching courtside. Responsibilities Be aware and proactive based on official calls and serving team. Work with game officials and Game Day Supervisor as required. Provide general support to event set up and tear down. Ensure all requirements and regulations set-out by Canada West and U SPORTS are met and followed with the Game Day team. Other duties as required. Qualifications Passion for sports. Ability to work all shifts Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings. Highly motivated individual who can work well independently under pressure. Commitment to time management and punctuality. Ability to lift items of up to 30lbs on an occasional basis. Salary: $15.45 per hour Closing Date: Open until candidate is found A resume should be submitted in one .pdf document.
