Assembly Technician

We are constantly growing and currently looking for a skilled mechanic to join our team as an Assembly Technician KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assemble exploration drilling equipment; control panels, engines, structural, power units, top drives Be able to read and understand schematics (hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical)/shop drawings Be able to trouble shoot, diagnose and service a wide range of hydraulic equipment Adjust equipment and repair/replace bad parts, pieces or systems using hand and power tools Test new equipment for proper performance and make sure that work meets specifications Start up & testing WORK ENVIRONMENT Mostly indoors, Service/Assembly Department Eye protection and steel toed boots required on site SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Post-Secondary training OR Mechanical and/or hydraulic background 5+ years related experience is a plus Drilling exp. is an asset Hydraulic/Electrical exp. is an asset Good communication skills Minimum class 5 driver’s license Personal tools This position is full time: Flexible shifts available! The primary duties involve assembling exploration drilling equipment, including control panels, engines, structural components, power units, and top drives. Technicians must also be proficient in reading schematics, diagnosing issues, servicing hydraulic equipment, and testing new machinery to ensure performance meets specifications.

Candidates should possess post-secondary training or a strong mechanical/hydraulic background, with 5+ years of related experience being advantageous. A minimum Class 5 driver's license is required, and experience in drilling, hydraulics, or electrical systems is considered an asset.
