We are constantly growing and currently looking for the right person to join our team as a Journeyman Machinist for our night shift! Typical requirements include short lead time, small to large size parts, complex fabrication and machining, and assembly of finished product. We collaborate with our design engineers to optimise design requirements and to provide very quick and extremely dependable service. Multi-Power machinists and fabricators know it is important to deliver high quality parts and service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Applicant must be able to work independently with minimal supervision to machine various parts on a CNC lathe, CNC mill and/or manual machines as instructed Applicant must be able to read drawings and machine in safe and proficient manner Applicant must be able to work in a group environment on large projects and follow the direction of the project leader Applicant must be capable of measuring and qualifying your own work regarding drawing tolerances Fanuc and Mazak controller knowledge are an asset SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Journeyman Red Seal - Or work experience equivalent Good communication skills, both verbal and written The ideal candidate will support our company vision, mission statements and promote company culture and values WORK ENVIRONMENT Machine/Fabrication Department Eye protection and steel toed boots required on site WHY JOIN US?
