The Role: As a Certified Journeyman Automotive Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality vehicle repairs for our customers. You'll use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair complex vehicle concerns, complete accurate inspections, and ensure every repair is performed to manufacturer standards. What You'll Do: · Perform complete and accurate vehicle diagnostics. · Complete repairs efficiently and verify the effectiveness of all repairs performed. · Diagnose and repair vehicles with electrical and drivability concerns. · Ensure every vehicle receives a thorough inspection and that findings are clearly documented and communicated. · Complete repair orders accurately and in accordance with GM requirements, dealership policies, and warranty procedures. · Prepare complete and accurate repair estimates, including all required parts, fluids, and labour. · Track labour operations accurately, including diagnosis time and additional repair functions. · Perform AMVIC and Out-of-Province inspections on customer and dealership-owned vehicles as required. · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. · Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. What We’re Looking For: · Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification is required; applicants without certification will not be considered. · Minimum two years of experience diagnosing and repairing drivability, electrical, and mechanical concerns; five or more years of experience is preferred. · Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including diagnostics, electrical, and vehicle repair procedures. · Previous experience completing vehicle inspections is considered an asset. · Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing. · Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record · Knowledge of dealership brand vehicles or local customer preferences an asset · Basic computer skills with the ability to use dealership software and digital repair systems.

Exigences
