About The Opportunity As the Executive Assistant to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery, you will be responsible for: Providing quality customer service, ensuring a respectful and helpful response is given to all face-to-face and telephone enquiries. Completing a range of operational, clerical and administrative tasks, including report production, drafting responses to correspondence, record keeping and management, booking services/appointments, and purchasing/stores management. Providing assistance with more complex tasks or projects and relief for other staff as required, to support efficiency and quality within the service and team. Supporting the manager and team with quality activities to ensure ongoing improvement in local processes. Making decisions and taking initiative on day-to-day operational matters, performing according to established work practices and procedures under general instruction and broad supervision. Organising meetings, taking minutes and managing associated procedures. To find out more, please review the Position Description. About You Our ideal candidate will demonstrate: Proven intermediate/advanced computer competency and strong keyboard skills with speed and accuracy, including high level experience with database systems. Proven experience working in a high workload and pressure area, with knowledge of clinical and corporate applications and work practices. Demonstrated ability and initiative to work both as part of a team and independently, with a sound knowledge of administrative procedures in a health setting. A demonstrated strong customer focus and commitment to providing exceptional service to all clients, internal and external to the organisation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong written and verbal English, and the ability to liaise professionally with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. Demonstrated ability to organise meetings, take minutes and manage associated procedures.
