Résumé du poste
Company Description My Empower Therapy Pediatric Services is a full-service multidisciplinary clinic that provides comprehensive therapy services for diverse pediatric learners. The clinic specializes in behavior consultancy, speech and language therapy, communication skills, early intervention, and occupational therapy. Professionals collaborate closely to deliver coordinated services that promote meaningful developmental progress and functional outcomes for each child. Role Description This part-time Physiotherapist role is a hybrid position based in Surrey, BC, with a combination of in-clinic work and some work-from-home flexibility for selected tasks such as documentation and care planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing pediatric clients’ physical abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering physiotherapy interventions to support mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence. The Physiotherapist will collaborate with behavior consultants, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and families to ensure integrated, goal-oriented care. Additional tasks include maintaining accurate clinical records, monitoring progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and providing education to caregivers on home programs and strategies that reinforce therapy goals. Qualifications Current registration and good standing with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (or eligibility for registration). Experience or strong interest in pediatric physiotherapy, including early intervention and working with children with developmental, neurological, or physical challenges. Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to pediatric clients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members. Solid organizational and time-management skills to balance direct client care, documentation, and remote tasks in a hybrid work environment. Comfort with basic digital tools and electronic medical records for documentation and coordination of care. Commitment to inclusive, family-centered practice and a respectful, non-discriminatory approach toward clients and colleagues. Completion of a recognized degree in Physiotherapy; pediatric-focused continuing education or certifications are an asset. Previous experience in a clinic or community setting is preferred, but motivated early-career practitioners with relevant training are encouraged to apply.
