As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled and motivated *Residential Sheet Metal Tradesperson* to join our team on a full-time, year-round basis. *About the Role* The successful candidate will primarily work on *residential new construction projects*, installing and fabricating HVAC sheet metal systems while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and professionalism. *Qualifications* The ideal candidate will have: * A valid *308A Sheet Metal Apprentice or Journeyperson* designation. * Residential HVAC sheet metal experience (preferred). * A *G2 Gas Technician Licence* (considered an asset but not required). * A valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record (driver's abstract required). * Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills. * Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, including Working at Heights training. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. * A dependable, punctual, and professional work ethic. *Responsibilities* * Install, fabricate, and modify residential HVAC sheet metal systems for new construction projects. * Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. * Ensure all work meets company quality standards and applicable building codes. * Maintain a safe and organized work environment. * Collaborate effectively with coworkers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure projects are completed on schedule. *What We Offer* * Competitive compensation based on experience. * Full-time, year-round employment with a stable and growing company. * Company vehicle and company phone. * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. * RRSP program. * Supportive, team-oriented work environment with opportunities for long-term career growth. *Why Join My Fireplace?* · At My Fireplace, we value our employees and believe they are the foundation of our success.
