Your route Under the supervision Pricing Director, the Gross Profit Manager strives to improve the NAPA Corporate and/or Associate Stores gross profit results. The team lead the analysis, problem–solving and improvement measures of gross profit margins and sales support. The team conduct steady review and analysis of results and involves all management teams in addressing and solving issues. Your Responsibilities Manage a team of Gross Profit specialist and analyst to help establishing strategies in different market, to increase sales and profits. Create and manage standard customer price profiles (custom pricing) at a national level as well as the criteria and guidelines for the creation of exceptions at the Regional level based on the gross profit margin standards and methods used at NAPA US. Manage custom pricing exceptions on a national basis; Analyze individual customer’s custom pricing Vs sales, identify problem areas, develop solutions and advise and support Store and District management or Owners to correct problem areas and improve gross profit margins. Follow-up on results obtained by stores through reports analysis. Communicate results to different management teams. Make recommendations as to best solutions to problems identified to Regional, District, Purchasing and BMA management teams. Defines, communicate and follow-up on the implementation of policies and procedures related to the management of gross profit margins. Follow-up and support proper implementation of policies, procedures and programs. Conduct regular market surveys at national and regional level to keep our prices competitive. Under the hood To Join Our Team, You Need Business degree and/or a combination of education and experience with a strong accounting/finance component. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with NAPA. Excellent communication skills in both French and English, written and spoken. In this role, you will regularly collaborate with internal clients across Canada. Excellent knowledge of our national and regional markets, of our customers and our competition. Good knowledge of MS office, especially Excel Knowledge of TAMS (particularly custom pricing and reports components); Travel within Canada (under 10%) About The Division The Auto Parts Division is mainly involved in the sale, distribution and marketing of replacement parts and supplies for cars and light trucks. We have the largest Canadian distribution network of vehicle replacement parts. Our banners in this division include household name NAPA Auto Parts, as well as Altrom-Autocamping, specialized in parts for imported vehicles, and CMAX, specialized in paint and body supplies. Exigences
Requires a business degree with a strong accounting or finance component and at least 3 years of relevant experience with NAPA. Proficiency in English and French, as well as expertise in MS Excel and TAMS, is required.
