COMPOSITE/PLASTIC WORKER

Position Description This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Domestic DIB, MRTFB Direct Hire Authority. Position Duties/Responsibilities You will perform standard and routine repairs, restore, and remove composite or plastic parts and structures with surface damage such as chips, scratches, minor cuts, pits, abrasion, dents, perform wet layups, delamination, dis-bond, and bubbles. You will assemble vacuum bags and make basic repairs to restore the aerodynamic smoothness of parts in order to prevent further damage. You will independently, with minimal oversight and follow specific instructions and use established methods, processes, blueprints, and technical directives to accomplish routine assignments. Minimum Salary 28.86 Maximum Salary 33.62

Perform routine repairs and restoration of composite and plastic parts, addressing damage such as chips, scratches, and delamination. Assemble vacuum bags and follow technical blueprints to maintain aerodynamic smoothness of structures.

Applicants must be able to perform standard composite repairs and wet layups with minimal oversight. Ability to follow specific instructions, blueprints, and established technical processes is required.
