Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Medical Centre Pharmacy in Brooklin, Ontario. Compensation listed is a starting point only and will be determined based on candidate experience. Patient Focused Care Responsibilities: Blister Packs & Compliance Packaging: Filling and sealing multi-dose blister packs accurately. Prescription Processing: Entering patient, insurance, and doctor data into pharmacy software. Dispensing Support: Counting pills, measuring liquids, and labeling under pharmacist supervision. Inventory Control: Checking stock, ordering supplies, and removing expired products. POS & Billing: Operating cash registers and processing third-party insurance claims Attention to Detail: Double-checking work to ensure zero medication errors Focus & Concentration: Maintaining accuracy during repetitive packaging tasks. Customer Service: Assisting patients warmly and professionally in person and by phone. Time Management: Multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork: Working seamlessly with pharmacists and technicians to meet deadlines. Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is preferred Previous experience within a pharmacy is an asset Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software (Fillware, Kroll) Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Who We Are: Neighbourly Pharmacy is Canada’s largest and fastest growing network of community pharmacies.
