Registered Pharmacy Technician

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Pharmasave in Salmon Arm, BC. Patient Focused Care Responsibilities: Receive and accurately transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare providers Ensure patient safety through accurate and high-quality preparation and release of medications Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies Process prescriptions by entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, and packaging medications Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions for accuracy and safety Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards Experience with compounding an asset, but not necessary. Desire to learn important. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Pharmacists. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are required for this role.
