Job: Project Controls Coordinator I Payrate: $44-$47/hr. on T4 Location: Calgary, AB or Edmonton, AB (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension) Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced cost control support to project management teams. Work closely with Project Controls Advisors, Execution, and Engineering leads to initiate purchase orders and change orders. Act as the single point of contact for accurate creation of requisitions in Oracle Financial system. Monitor status of requisitions, purchase orders, and change orders; provide insights to stakeholders using Oracle reports, Power BI, SharePoint, and Excel. Collaborate on purchase orders, change orders, and contract revisions when funding is insufficient. Work with Supply Chain, Execution, and Accounts Payable on invoice validation and management. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 3+ years of experience supporting Purchase Orders for Engineering and Construction capital projects. Familiarity with best practices for project cost control. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle Cloud. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. The Project Controls Coordinator will provide advanced cost control support to project management teams and act as the single point of contact for requisition creation in the Oracle Financial system. They will monitor the status of requisitions and collaborate on purchase orders and contract revisions.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience supporting purchase orders for engineering and construction projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle Cloud, along with strong organizational and communication skills, is required.
