KDB+ Developer Location: Mississauga, CA and Toronto, CA Fulltime Job Description: The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing clear, quality code to develop the best software. You will test your code, identify errors, and iterate to ensure quality code. You will also support our customers and partners by troubleshooting any of their software issues. Responsibilities We are looking for a highly skilled Senior KDB Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in kdb+/q, real-time data processing, time-series analytics, and production support. This role involves designing high-performance market data solutions, optimizing existing systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and low-latency applications. Design, develop, and maintain kdb+/q applications for real-time and historical data processing Build scalable and low-latency data pipelines for market data, trading, analytics, or risk systems Enhance existing q frameworks and optimize performance across applications and databases. Provide Tier 2 production support, debugging issues, analyzing logs, and resolving data or system problems Collaborate with business users, quants, analysts, and other engineering teams to understand requirements

The Senior KDB Developer will design, develop, and maintain kdb+/q applications for real-time and historical data processing. They will also provide Tier 2 production support and collaborate with various teams to understand requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in kdb+/q and experience in real-time data processing and time-series analytics. They should also be skilled in optimizing existing systems and providing production support.
