Job Title: Senior Trainer – ERP / Learning & Development Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Trainer – ERP / Learning & Development to support a major Public-sector ERP modernization initiative. In this role, you will lead enterprise-wide training strategy, curriculum development, and delivery to ensure successful adoption of the 1GX platform. You'll collaborate with business leaders, SMEs, project teams, and change management stakeholders to create engaging learning experiences that drive user readiness and long-term success. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and delivery of role-based instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced training programs. Develop high-quality learning materials including eLearning modules, training manuals, job aids, quick reference guides, presentations, and videos. Conduct training needs analysis and partner with business stakeholders to identify learning requirements. Facilitate classroom, virtual, and hands-on training sessions for diverse audiences across the organization. Maintain training governance, quality standards, version control, and content updates as business processes evolve. Measure training effectiveness through learner feedback, assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Mentor junior trainers and support enterprise-wide learning and adoption activities. Utilize approved digital collaboration and AI-enabled tools to enhance content development and learner engagement. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise training programs. Strong curriculum development and instructional design expertise. Experience developing computer-based learning using Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or similar tools. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and competency development. Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Skills Experience supporting SAP, Oracle, or other Enterprise ERP implementations. Experience with Digital Adoption Platforms such as WalkMe. Government or Public Sector experience. Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or NotebookLM.
