Job description: New Beginnings Recovery Home – Toronto, ON New Beginnings Recovery Home is seeking a compassionate and grounded Addiction & Mental Health Counsellor to step into the role of Team Lead / Clinical Director. You will play a central role in guiding both our clients and our clinical team, helping individuals navigate addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges while ensuring excellence in program delivery and organizational compliance. Key Responsibilities Serve as Manager / Team Lead, overseeing day-to-day operations and staff at the facility Facilitate individual counselling sessions using CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches Collaborate with physicians, MDs, and psychiatrists on treatment planning and progress reviews Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with PIPEDA Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Lead regular team meetings, case conferences, and staff supervision Provide training and development opportunities for clinical staff to strengthen skills and knowledge Support a culture of dignity, safety, and community throughout the program Collaborate across departments to ensure integrated, client-centered service delivery Ideal Candidate Must hold one of the following: Master’s in Social Work (MSW/RSW registered with OCSWSSW) Fully Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) Proven experience in designing and leading clinical programming Familiarity with Ontario’s mental health system, OHIP billing pathways, and compliance regulations Expertise in trauma-informed, culturally competent, and client-centered care Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Deep commitment to community healing and building an equitable, accessible treatment model Job Type: Full-time
