Department IT Location Montreal At Stingray, creativity, collaboration and technological innovation are at the heart of how we work. We’re looking for a full-time IT Technician to join our technical support (Helpdesk) team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Operations, you’ll help deliver an exceptional service experience to our teams. Your day-to-day Manage and respond to technical support requests from our Montreal head office and all Stingray satellite offices (travel possible 2–3 times per year) Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues across various platforms and technologies, including meeting room equipment (videoconferencing) Install, configure, maintain and upgrade employee workstations, laptops and phones Create and update technical documentation On-site work 4 days/week, up to 5 days depending on business needs or events Your Qualifications Technical diploma (DEC) or AEC in computer science 3+ years of relevant experience in an equivalent role Solid experience installing, configuring and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones and audiovisual equipment Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and macOS operating systems Proficiency with the Office O365 suite Good knowledge of Active Directory (groups, users, objects) Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, in order to support teams in Montreal and at our satellite offices Excellent interpersonal skills Organized, autonomous and self-motivated Able to see objectives and initiatives through to completion Comfortable in an informal, fast-paced work environment Able to identify and defuse situations requiring urgent attention 24/7 technical support schedule shared across the team, occasionally requiring after-hours interventions What will set you apart Good knowledge of device management tools such as Intune and JAMF Scripting knowledge (PowerShell) is an asset Knowledge of security and networking concepts and troubleshooting tools Experience in a technical helpdesk environment and with a ticketing system, e.g. Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy, ZenDesk (Jira knowledge an asset) The team you'll be joining A team of 8 IT enthusiasts (including the IT procurement team) We work collaboratively and have fun doing it, supporting Stingray’s operations Life at Stingray A cool office in Montreal, just steps from the Old Port and the Lachine Canal bike path Stingray café with breakfasts, lunches and snacks offered every day A subsidy for your OPUS card to make your commutes easier Shares purchase plan (with a contribution from Stingray) Full access to the Dialogue virtual healthcare platform Free fitness classes offered weekly Access to private consultations on nutrition and wellness Free language classes, training and access to the latest AI technologies and platforms to boost your productivity and creativity Summer hours Milestones celebrated with our loyalty program 5@7 and vibrant social events And much more!
