Job Location: Brucejack Camp Workplace Type: Onsite Pay Grade: 002 Closing Date: Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community. Role Purpose As a Light Equipment Operator – Winter Snow Removal Team, you will support Surface Operations by ensuring safe and reliable snow removal during the winter season. Your work is essential to maintaining site accessibility, operational continuity, and a safe working environment in challenging weather conditions. This is a temporary role. Key Roles and Responsibilities Operate light equipment including Rock trucks, skid steers, crew trucks, and small excavators Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks Complete job hazard assessments and adhere to all safety procedures Participate in safety meetings and maintain compliance with site regulations Support snow removal activities in remote, winter conditions Contribute to a safe, productive, and team-focused work environment Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract 2-3 years of experience operating equipments Demonstrated ability to safely and efficiently operate light equipment Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in all weather conditions WHMIS certification preferred Previous remote site or camp experience considered an asset Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence Your Impact By joining our Winter Snow Removal Team, you will play a critical role in keeping operations moving safely throughout the winter season. What We Offer Competitive hourly rate: CA$38.99/hour Remote camp setting with private accommodations provided Onsite meals, gym, recreation, and entertainment facilities Travel allowance and transportation arrangements included Rotational schedule of 13 days on / 13 days off Drug- and alcohol-free workplace (pre-employment testing required) The expected salary range for this role is CA$38.99/hour. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer extended to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history.
