This course delivery will be an online format. October 2026 SOCW 340 – Social Work & Healthcare Program Details Can Be Found At https://www.nvit.ca/programs/courses/#sec-11 Qualifications Possess Master of Social Work Degree (MSW). Minimum of two years teaching experience at a college or university level. Experience in classroom teaching and learning practices with Indigenous adult learners. Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Indigenous social work theory and practice. Strong team player with excellent human relation skills – faculty members are expected to contribute positively to the life of the school and community. Ability to develop strong connections to Indigenous social service agencies and communities. Applicants must be willing to teach in a hybrid model. Face to Face in class for students wishing to attend class in person and online synchronist for students not on campus. Applicants must be familiar with Moodle, Teams and Outlook operating platforms.
