Home Coordinator - Job Description Job title Home Coordinator Job Status Full time (40hrs/week) Reports to Homes Manager - GTA Location In Person – NH Mississauga Nisa Foundation empowers and supports vulnerable women and families through housing, mental health, education, and community-based initiatives. With a growing national footprint, we deliver life-changing programs while building sustainable partnerships with donors, government, and community leaders. The Home Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and service delivery of a Transitional Home, ensuring a safe, organized, and supportive environment for clients. This role focuses on team coordination, program delivery, and operational execution, working closely with the Homes Manager. The Home Coordinator supports client transitions, service coordination, and overall home functioning, while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and processes. What You’ll Do: 1. Team Coordination & Support * Supportdaily team operationsand contribute to setting and tracking goals. * Foster apositive, collaborative team environmentand support conflict resolution as needed. * Work with stakeholders to supportsmooth and successful client transitions. 2. Program Delivery & Client Support * Support coordination ofcasework, referrals, and advocacy efforts. * Organize andfacilitatein-home activitiesthat support resident wellbeing and independence. * Adapt to changing client needs and supporttimelyresponses to operational or client-related situations. * Respond toemails, intake inquiries, and client needsin a timely manner. * Support coordination ofresident move-ins and move-outs. 3. Volunteers & Community Support * Coordinate and supervisevolunteers and placement students. * Ensure effective integration of volunteers into program activities and resident support. 4. Administration & Reporting * Ensure completion ofdaily and monthly reporting requirements. * Support implementation ofprogram and contractual reporting obligations. * Track andmonitorhome-related expenses, including use of internal systems. * Assistin preparing andsubmittingmonthly reports. * Participate in trainings and team meetings asrequired. 5. Financial & Resource Coordination * Support oversight ofhome budget spendingwithin approved guidelines. * Track expenses andmaintainproper documentation. * Assistin ensuring efficient use of resources. 6. Supplies, Inventory & Donations * Manage inventory ofgroceries, household items, and donations. * Coordinate with donors and ensure appropriateness of items. * Maintain organized storage andaccurateinventory records. 7. Facility Operations & Maintenance * Support thesafe and effective operation of the homeduring operational hours. * Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with service providers. * Ensure adherence to safety procedures and basic emergency protocols. 8. Outreach & Awareness * Stay informed on issues related togender-based violence and client needs. * Support collaboration with internal teams to enhanceclient support and service coordination. Ad Hoc Duties * Participate inadditionalmeetings and undertake related responsibilities as reasonably assigned, including special projects, cross-departmental initiatives, and other tasks necessary to support the effective operation of the organization.
