Junior Interior Designer

We are looking for the next generation of GOATS (Greatest Of All Times), where we can help facilitate an environment for you to grow and for us to create amazing things together. We want a talented, self-motivated junior interior designer at the start of their career (0-2 years of experience, recent graduates welcome), with an interest in hospitality, residential, F&B, and commercial work. We're interested in a person with the following qualities and skills: Job Responsibilities • Assist senior designers across multiple projects at various stages of completion, within schedule and budget. • Take ownership of small, well-defined design tasks and see them through to completion. • Support concept development and contribute ideas to the design process. • Help select and specify interior design elements under the guidance of senior staff. • Research design elements and precedents required for projects. • Source imagery and pull design ideas together for presentations. • Studio support: organization of the material library and project finishes. Software Skills • SketchUp • Enscape • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, In-Design) • Autodesk AutoCAD • Bluebeam • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Qualifications • Self-motivated with the ability to collaborate within a diverse team • Goal oriented (versus task oriented) • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or equivalent • Eager to learn and open to feedback • Enthusiastic in a creative environment • Good communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) • Possess a creative and curious mindset • Team player • Time managemen Company Description: NIVEK REMAS is a leading boutique firm based in Toronto, specializing in impactful interior design for luxury hospitality, residential, and retail brands.
