Jr. Firmware Engineer

As a Firmware Test engineer, you will be responsible to deliver quality output by executing product Firmware testing with laser focus on quality and adherence to project schedules. You will be expected to work in a cross-functional team environment to debug and resolve technical issues. The candidate should be capable of handling projects independently and strong will to drive for solutions. You will be expected to bring up test automation framework for managing various optical instruments using third party vendor libraries and build product drivers, test cases from scratch for optical performance tests. Execute product firmware testing and debug technical issues within a cross-functional team to ensure quality and schedule adherence. Develop test automation frameworks, product drivers, and test cases from scratch for optical performance tests.

Requires a BS/MS degree with internship experience in telecom product testing for embedded systems and knowledge of optical standards. Proficiency in Python and experience with optical test equipment like spectrum analyzers and power meters is essential.
