Just over 20 years ago, Martin Paquette, founder of the Spas Villages, experienced the intensity of a sauna, a powerful rush of adrenalin after a cold plunge, and the bliss of regained balance in a moment of rest. In just 30 minutes, he experienced the same incredible energy you feel after running for kilometres. At that moment, he had only one idea: to share this experience with as many people as possible. And so, at the end of a dirt road in Quebec’s Outaouais region, the first Spa Village took shape. And in 2005, our community of Artisans, passionate about sweat culture, welcomed its very first guests to Nordik Spa Village Chelsea. Today, this haven of well-being, with its focus on a relaxing social experience, offers the widest selection of wellness experiences for body and mind in North America.
