As an integral part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of agricultural products to various destinations. Responsibilities: Safe Operation: Operate AZ trucks with B-Train configurations in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies. Loading and Unloading: Thorough knowledge of loading and unload agricultural products onto and from the truck, ensuring secure and balanced cargo placement. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and B-Train trailer to ensure they are in proper working condition. Report any mechanical issues promptly. Route Planning: Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing fuel consumption and transportation costs. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date elogs, trip reports, and records of cargo deliveries and pickups. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company paperwork requirements. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients, including farmers, suppliers, and mill/elevator/port personnel. Compliance: Comply with all relevant transportation regulations, including hours-of-service regulations and weight limits. Safety: Follow strict safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and the proper securing of cargo. Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with dispatch and management regarding any delays, issues, or changes in delivery schedules. Emergencies: Handle emergency situations professionally and efficiently, such as accidents or breakdowns, by following company procedures and ensuring the safety of yourself and others. Requirements: - Valid AZ driver's license with B-Train experience. - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an AZ truck driver, with B-Train experience preferred. - Clean driving record with no major accidents or traffic violations. - Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols. - Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. - Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel for extended periods as needed. - Attention to detail and a commitment to safe and efficient driving practices. - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
