Job Posting What it’s like to be a Northbridge Claims Appraiser: As a Claims Appraiser you will be part of a dynamic team that prides itself on having a sharp eye on detail while keeping the customer experience top of mind. Our Appraisers are responsible for reviewing and assessing the value of heavy commercial vehicles through photo-based estimating. They have strong attention to detail, are analytical and able to “connect the dots” in every claim they manage. Working in a collaborative, tight-knit team, there is the opportunity for coaching, mentoring and development from our more experienced Appraisers to help grow both your customer service and problem-solving skills. We want your talent if you are great at: Investigating evaluating and appraising physical damage losses Effectively managing a busy day to day schedule Providing a great Customer experience And you have: Post-Secondary Education in an Insurance focused program or related program Working towards the CIP designation an asset Minimum 5 years of estimating/appraisal experience Experience with Mitchell Workcentre, Mitchell Connect and Mitchell Ultramate Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and vendors We really mean it when we say we put you first. The base salary range for this role is $56,000 - $84,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position.
