What it’s like to be a Northbridge Senior Underwriter: Our Senior Underwriters provide complete solutions for our commercial mid-market businesses. They work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties. They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders and love utilizing their strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly. This position is with our Health, Education, Social Services, and Senior Care (HESS) division. Experience in commercial lines underwriting in these industries would be considered an asset. While Senior Underwriters are already experts in their own field, Northbridge is committed to their ongoing growth and development. Working in a collaborative team they provide coaching, mentoring and development for less experienced underwriters. We want your talent! If you are great at: Commercial Underwriting Problem-solving and critical thinking Building relationships with brokers Creating success in a fast paced and dynamic environment Helping others develop through coaching and mentorship If you have: 7+ years of Underwriting experience in property, casualty, automobile Completed, or pursuing your CIP designation Strong customer service background Team-first mentality We really mean it when we say we put you first. The base salary range for this role is $80,000- $110,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package.
