What it’s like to be a Northbridge Underwriting Service Representative Our Underwriting Service Representatives work hard to provide support to Underwriters; performing administrative tasks that allow the Commercial Underwriting team to best serve our customers. Reporting to the Team Leader, Underwriting Service Support, they also use their strong Customer Service skills to work with our internal Underwriting teams; verifying information needed to get the job done right. Our USRs are passionate about insurance and use this opportunity to showcase their talents and further their insurance career. They are extremely detail-oriented, accurate, and have a strong desire to complete tasks quickly - while always wanting to lend a helping hand. We want your talent If you are great at: Performing data entry and data calculations Communicating with underwriters for verification and qualification of information Being accurate, while also being efficient Multi-tasking Customer Service If you have: Post-Secondary Education and/or Insurance experience Intermediate level computer skills, and the ability to learn new programs Actively pursuing a CIP designation We really mean it when we say we put you first. The Underwriting Service Representative provides administrative support to the Commercial Underwriting team by performing data entry and calculations. They also communicate with underwriters to verify information and ensure accuracy in service delivery.

Candidates should have post-secondary education or relevant insurance experience along with intermediate computer skills. A strong desire to learn and active pursuit of a CIP designation are also required.
