COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER II

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position provides home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan. Assists with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, planning and preparing meals while promoting maximum independence. Performs delegated tasks for which delegation of tasks training has been completed. A key component of this job is to ensure the well-being of individuals and families and to promote independent living while in the community. Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, 07:30 to 19:15, 09:45 to 21:30 (Rotating)

Provide home support services to clients according to pre-established care plans to promote independent living. Assist clients with activities of daily living, including hygiene and meal preparation, while performing delegated tasks.

Candidates must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry. The role requires the ability to work rotating day shifts.
