In this role, you’ll be part of a skilled engineering team working on projects that span from concept to fabrication, to field installation. Why You’ll Love Working Here Collaboration - complementary Group of Companies servicing the mining and construction industries Innovation- if it doesn’t exist, we will engineer and manufacture it Excellence - be a part of an industry leader in quality, safety, & integrity Culture - a diverse team that values collaboration, innovation, and community What You’ll Be Doing Tackle a diverse portfolio of projects from initial concepts through to final fabrication and implementation Lead engineering estimates, manage design budgets and schedules, and drive technical excellence while maintaining safety and quality Create and review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports Prepare and review technical specifications, equipment lists, calculations, reports, design criteria, and other documents Maintain and adhere to applicable codes, standards, regulations, and best practices for all projects Sign and Seal all final drawings, specifications, reports, and other documents prepared under your supervision Mentor junior engineers, share your expertise, and help shape the future of the Engineering department Coordinate with designers and the Fabrication Team to complete engineering projects Develop solutions for issues that arise during Fabrication or Construction What You Bring To The Table A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility through APEGS 5+ years of experience in industrial or mining projects would be considered an asset Experience with STAAD Pro, S-Frame or other commercial structural design software Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) will be considered an asset Solid knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for turning complex challenges into practical solutions Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Strong time management skills Strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused mindset Ability to handle competing priorities simultaneously; work well under pressure with time-sensitive deadlines Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) Possess a positive and professional attitude, set a high standard, and convey professionalism at all times What We Offer Support in your career development aspirations See your work in action. Lead the design and implementation of industrial and mining solutions from concept through to fabrication and field installation. Responsibilities include creating technical drawings, managing design budgets, and signing and sealing final engineering documents.

Requires a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and a P.Eng. designation or eligibility through APEGS. Proficiency in structural design software like STAAD Pro or S-Frame and experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks are essential.
