Underground Miner / Equipment Operator

Fortis Mining, Engineering, & Manufacturing is growing, and we're on the lookout for a passionate, detail-driven Underground Miner / Equipment Operator, whose primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently operate underground mining equipment in support of safe, productive, and continuous operations across our various mine sites. Safely and efficiently operate underground mining equipment, including scoops and alpine miners, to support continuous mine operations. Responsibilities include performing rehab work, installing belt lines, and collaborating with maintenance and operations departments.

Requires a minimum of two years of experience in an underground potash setting and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates should have a strong safety record and the ability to work both day and night shifts.
