Field Service Technician - Digital Completion Solutions

We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician who will play a crucial role in our operations. As a Field Service Technician, your main responsibility will involve traveling to field sites to install, commission, and service NOV Rigsmart branded systems. This position requires extensive travel, and the selected candidate must be able to travel to international destinations. We offer competitive wages and, in addition to your regular salary, you will be compensated with a field day rate for the days spent working on-site. This hands-on position demands frequent site visits and the ability to work efficiently in all weather conditions. Essential Job Responsibilities: * Mechanical and/or Electrical/Electronics servicing, troubleshooting, installation, and repair. * Cleaning and management of assigned tools and vehicle. * Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. * On-call duties. * Maintain strong business relationship with existing clients. * Communicate with Operations and Service Managers regularly, on all aspects of service. * Complete reporting, job and billing paperwork. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requirements: * Due to international visa requirements, a technical diploma, certificate, trade, or degree is required. * Willingness to travel internationally; possession of a valid passport is mandatory * Background in instrumentation, electrical, or electronics * Knowledge and experience with oilfield equipment and service work is an asset. * Experience with schematics and blueprints. * Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written). * Ability to work at heights * Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50lbs. * Valid Class 5 driver’s license. This position is classified as safety sensitive, and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol and 50lb physical testing. Candidates must possess a technical diploma, certificate, trade, or degree and have a background in instrumentation, electrical, or electronics. A valid passport for international travel and a valid Class 5 driver's license are mandatory requirements.
