The Recreation Therapist assesses patient needs, develops and delivers individualized or group interventions, and evaluates outcomes across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. The Recreation Therapist also supports the delivery of recreation therapy services within the assigned program or team, contributing to holistic, patient-centred care. About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following: Bachelor of Recreation specializing (Major) in Therapeutic Recreation Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Knowledge and application of Therapeutic Recreation assessments and processes. Experience with Responsive Behavior plan development an asset Understanding of the role of a recreation associate Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications. Hours Long assignment full-time position; 75 hours biweekly Approximately 12 months Compensation And Benefits $35.83 - $47.53 hourly Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan. Exigences
