Join us and be part of the very best in the iGaming space! Purpose: We are seeking an AML & Compliance Specialist to join our Legal & Compliance Team, reporting to our General Counsel. As an AML & Compliance Specialist, you will be an integral part to help ensure that NSUS Group Inc. meets its compliance, and legal requirements in accordance with applicable legislation. You will support ongoing compliance and regulatory reporting in Ontario and in other jurisdictions where we operate. Duties and Responsibilities: Support the ongoing AML & Compliance duties and regulatory reporting in Ontario and other jurisdictions as required: PEP screening; Transaction monitoring; EDD on high-risk players; Review UARs and create STRs (as needed); Conduct risk assessments; Regulatory reporting for Ontario and other markets as needed; Respond to Regulator requests in a timely and professional manner; Update AML / Compliance related policies (as needed); Conduct regular internal audits and gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions; and Maintain up-to-date records of Compliance and training activities to present during audits or Regulatory reviews. Initiating and Responding to corporate due diligence requests in a timely manner; Proactively identify, action, and mitigate any compliance risks for the business; Review and revise platform content such as Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and other customer-facing documents; Answer questions and provide guidance to other business units such as Operations, Marketing, Customer Support, Product Payments & Fraud teams, and others as required; Provide oversight of the change management process and ensure compliance with local regulators; and Such other duties and responsibilities that may be required from time to time. Requirements: AML certification (i.e. Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist); 3+ years of experience in the AML/Compliance field; Degree or diploma from a recognized college or university; Excellent communication skills with fluent English; Any gaming related experience would be a bonus; Flexibility, versatility, and in a position to work in accordance with the demands of the business; Strong attention to detail; Strong prioritization and good decision-making skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of tasks; Tech-savvy with proficiency in with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets) or MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks; and Good relationship-building skills.
