What We Offer Nurse Next Door People Promise, you love coming to work $35.00 to $40.00 per hour Fantastic benefits package (30+ hours worked per week) 24/7 support center to assist with scheduling related questions 24/7 assistance related to client care In home care with private clients Paid mileage on a case per case basis No union dues Responsibilities And Duties Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, other interdisciplinary team members As a brand ambassador the LPN/RPN treats client and team members with courtesy and respect Reviews the care plans arranged by the case manager ( Care Designer) prior to beginning a visit, completing records accurately and carrying out all assignments as requested Responds to Care Designer and Scheduling Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed upon timeline Engages in open communication with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your client’s experience and care are identified Delivers comprehensive professional nursing care consistent with the care plan, nursing assessments and client needs. Perform all skills, treatments and procedures competently in accordance to the provincial scope of LPN/RPN and adheres to the policies, procedures and protocols of Nurse Next Door. Assess and provide client and family/caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis. Requirements Current Certificate of Competence and in good standing with the provincial College of Nurses Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and one year of recent related experience in gerontological nursing Functions within the limits of own experience and knowledge, and practices safely and competently within the job description. 1 year of nursing experience required; three years nursing experience preferred. Community, home health or medical/surgical experience preferred. Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated at the nurses cost every 5 years for continued employment) Negative TB test or chest x-ray (updated at the nurses cost every 5 years for continued employment) Assists clients in all activities of daily living/hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, linen changes and so forth. Exigences

Candidates must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the provincial College of Nurses and have a graduation from a recognized Practical Nursing program. A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required, with a preference for gerontological, community, or medical/surgical experience.
